WB Coins and rewards, explained

Walk, collect WB Coins, and redeem them in the Reward Centre. Here is exactly how that works, including what WB Coins are not.

Real rewards, with nothing hidden

WB Coins are how WalkBuzz rewards your walking. Here is exactly what they are.

WB Coins are

  • Virtual reward points in your WalkBuzz account
  • Collected from your steps and from what you do in the app, such as challenges, new levels and invites
  • Redeemed in the Reward Centre for rewards stocked for your country

WB Coins are not

  • Money, or anything with a cash value
  • Something you can buy, sell or give to another person
  • Withdrawable, or exchangeable for money outside the app

Collect each day’s coins within 15 days of first seeing them; collected coins may expire after 12 months with no activity. Rewards and their prices in coins vary by country and change over time, and at launch the Reward Centre is stocked for India.

Where WB Coins come from

Every WB Coin comes from something you did. None of them can be bought.

  • Walking

    Every 1,000 steps up to your daily goal make 1 WB Coin. Start a day with a full Power battery and meet your goal, and that day’s walking coins are doubled.

  • Challenges

    Complete a challenge’s step target within its window and, once your steps are confirmed, receive the reward it shows.

  • New levels

    Each new level from 2 to 25 comes with a one-time coin bonus the first time you reach it.

  • Invites

    When a friend you invite walks their first 5,000 steps, you both receive bonus coins. Many invites in a short time are reviewed first.

How redeeming works

  1. Step 1

    Choose a reward

    The Reward Centre shows what is stocked for your country, with each reward’s price in WB Coins.

  2. Step 2

    Confirm, then follow it

    Your request appears in My Rewards. Each request is checked before it is fulfilled, so it can take a little while. A request that does not pass the check is not fulfilled, and its coins are returned.

  3. Step 3

    Receive it

    Digital codes appear in My Rewards and are sent to your email. Physical products, where stocked, go to an address you save.

The fine print, in plain words

  • Rewards depend on your country. At launch, the Reward Centre is stocked for India; walkers everywhere else can keep collecting coins, and a country’s Reward Centre opens once rewards are stocked for it.
  • The catalogue changes over time: rewards are added, sell out and retire.
  • Each reward has its own price in WB Coins, which can change. A change never affects a request you have already made.
  • Collect your coins within 15 days of first seeing them in the app; if you never open the app to see a day’s coins, they expire after 90 days. Collected coins stay while you keep using WalkBuzz; after 12 months with no activity they may expire.
  • WB Coins cannot be bought, sold, transferred or withdrawn, and they have no cash value.

Availability

Walk anywhere. Rewards where they are stocked.

WalkBuzz arrives on the App Store and Google Play on 11 October 2026, in most countries and regions. Walking, WB Coins, streaks, levels and challenges work wherever you are.

At launch, the Reward Centre is stocked for India. Walkers in other countries can keep collecting coins, building streaks and joining challenges. A country’s Reward Centre opens once rewards are stocked for it.
